Reinventing the Museum - April 23, 2016
Presented by Nasher Sculpture Center and The Museum of Street Culture, this was the inaugural event in The Museum of Street Culture Speaker Series. Adrien Gardere and Olivier Meslay discussed the Museum of Street of Culture in the context of new approaches to designing and building museums to reach and engage diverse and underserved audiences.

508 Park Fiddle Contest - November 7, 2015

The Museum of Street Culture partnered with the Texas Old Time Fiddlers Association (TOTFA) to create a Fiddle and Western Swing competition. The competition featured six age divisions for fiddlers to compete in and had special emphasis on our younger fiddler: 8 and under, 9-12, 13-17, 18-39, 40-64, and 65 and over. "On That Day" - June 19, 2012

"On that Day" was presented on June 19, 2012 at First Presbyterian Church. "On that Day," written by Alan Govenar and Akin Babatunde is a theatrical spoken word and musical evocation of the world of Dallas on June 19 & 20, 1937 when not only Robert Johnson, but also the Crystal Spring Ramblers and the Light Crust Doughboys, recorded at 508 Park Avenue.
